Immigration Attorney R. Hunter Bradley
Hunter Bradley is a native of North Carolina. Born in Mt. Airy, near the Virginia border, to a naturalized Portuguese mother and an American father, he is named after his great-uncle and his great-grandfather, both early Presbyterian missionaries in China and India. Hunter attended the N.C. School of Science and Math (class of 1993) and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s degree in 1997 and Law degree in 2003. During law school he was recognized by the N.C. State Bar for his pro bono work with immigration clients.
After law school, he attended the Federal Immigration Officer Academy, where he graduated at the top of his class. He served two years as a federal immigration officer (USCIS) under the Department of Homeland Security, before returning to North Carolina in 2005 to begin his law practice devoted to immigration.
He lives in Chapel Hill with his wife and three cats and can usually be found Sunday mornings playing pick-up soccer on the artificial turf fields beside Fetzer Field on the UNC campus.
